Discussion.

A vigorous cold front has swept across much of the province
yesterday. Severe storms with powerful wind gusts have affected
several areas. Numerous trees were damaged or even uprooted. In
addition, an oppressive heat prevailed over much of the province,
with the mercury reaching some 36 degrees in several localities
including 36.9 degrees at the Bagotville airport.
