Tornado Reported Near Jenner, Alberta on October 7 Confirmed

At approximately 2:50 pm MDT on Saturday, October 7th, a brief
tornado was observed 15 km southeast of Jenner, Alberta. Environment
and Climate Change Canada’s Prairie and Arctic Storm Prediction
Centre (PASPC) received multiple reports and photos, however there
were no reports of damage. Therefore, this tornado has been given a
preliminary rating of EF0.

This was considered a landspout tornado that was generated by weak
rotation under a rapidly growing thunderstorm. Landspout tornadoes
do not usually cause significant damage but can still be dangerous
as they can topple trees, damage roofs, or toss debris a short
distance.

PASPC meteorologists are actively seeking pictures of the tornado or
damage it may have caused. Should you have any information regarding
